Fire Maple took a very specific problem — backpacking stoves that use tiny EN417 canisters but you're sitting on a pile of 1lb Coleman propane bottles — and solved it with precision-milled aluminum and some very tight tolerances. The Z1 adapter lets you run most standard screw-type camp stoves on those heavy-duty green cylinders, which is excellent news for off-grid trips where fuel flexibility matters.

Weighs 38 grams. Slips into a pocket. Leak-resistant connection. The kind of thing you throw in your kit and forget about until the moment you actually need it, at which point you feel like a genius.

A couple of notes: this is a high-pressure adapter, so it's not recommended for pressure-regulated stoves like the Fire Maple Polaris. Also not compatible with Fire Maple GreenPeak 1 or GreenPeak 2 models. Check your stove specs before you buy.

Gas Lantern | Fire Maple | 128g | 57-Hour Burn Time
Gas Lantern | Fire Maple | 128g | 57-Hour Burn Time

A candle-like flame that runs on isobutane and weighs less than a deck of cards. Fire Maple built this for backpackers who want real light without the bulk, the soot, or the anxiety of open flame in a tent vestibule. Turn the wire knob to dial from a low flicker to a bright, steady glow — enough to read by, play cards under, or light a table for dinner without blinding anyone. It burns for 57 hours on a single 230g canister at just 4 g/h, which means you can stretch one canister across an entire week-long trip. Even better: it runs on the low residual pressure that camp stoves can't use, so you can screw on a nearly empty canister and burn off the last few grams instead of packing out dead weight. The whole thing weighs 128g (4.5 oz) — anodized aluminum base, stainless steel frame, borosilicate glass globe — and folds down to a footprint smaller than a soda can (95 × 50 mm). Comes with a padded hard-shell case and a jet nozzle cleaning needle, because Fire Maple knows you're not bringing a backup. Manual ignition. Bring a lighter. **Specs:** Material: Anodized aluminum, stainless steel, borosilicate glass Weight: 128g (4.5 oz) Dimensions: 95 × 50 × 134 mm (3.7 × 2.0 × 5.3 in) Fuel consumption: 4 g/h Burn time: ~57 hours per 230g canister Flame adjustment: Yes, via wire knob Ignition: Manual (lighter required) Includes: Lantern, padded hard-shell carrying case, jet nozzle cleaning needle Compatible with EN417 Lindal Valve canisters Weighs roughly the same as a tangerine and three coins
