ESEE's do-everything fixed blade. 3/16" thick carbon steel that's tough enough for hard use but still cuts cleanly. Drop point blade, textured canvas micarta handle, comes with a molded sheath. This is the knife ESEE owners recommend when someone asks "if I can only have one."
Built in the U.S. by people who make knives for survival instructors, which means it's designed to take a beating and keep working. The blade's 1095 carbon steel—it'll take an edge, hold it, and sharpen back up when it's time. Green canvas micarta handles are removable if you want to swap them, textured so they don't slip when wet. Comes with a lanyard hole because sometimes you need to tie things to other things.
Rounded pommel, black powder coat finish, molded sheath with a clip plate. Compact enough to carry every day, serious enough to trust in the backcountry.
